Don't Give Up!
“You don’t develop on your own. You develop by having a goal bigger than you are. To achieve that goal, you have to become bigger. A goal forces you to become bigger, stronger, and better, and enables you to tackle even bigger goals.
Once you start pursuing your goals, you will face obstacles. One of the biggest challenges will be exhaustion. You may become discouraged and find yourself tempted to quit. The book of Galatians tells us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap the harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).
God assumes that when you are doing well you will get extremely tired. But that tiredness and exhaustion and thoughts of giving up are part of the price you pay for the harvest. In fact, one of the signs that you are near the harvest is that feeling of exhaustion. Therefore, being tired should not make you quit. Instead, it should make you double your efforts. When you are tired it is often a sign that you are close to reaching your goal.”
