Wiser Than The Children Of Light?

I was listening to an online Christian radio station today and they played a song by the group Nickelback. I had heard the song several times before, and each time it had struck a chord with me. From my understanding, Nickelback would not be described by most, if any, as a Christian Rock Band, but having been played on this station, it caused me to take a closer look at the lyrics and led me to pause and reflect. One could almost think a member of the band wrote the lyrics while sitting in their study and pouring over the scriptures, but I doubt that is the way the song unfolded. At any rate, the lyrics are worth looking at and thinking about for Christians and non-Christians alike. Life is short and what we do with it counts. Let it not be said of us that "the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light." Luke 16:8
